I’ve always wanted to makeover a clock! Just get a really cheap one (I bought this clock for Php50 in Divisoria) so you can afford to experiment and have a couple more to give away as gifts. The numbers are of course from Artwine which you can most conveniently paste on your mechanical masterpiece.

For this project, I used a doily for the base. It makes this piece instantly delicate and vintage-looking. I can imagine it hanging in a cozy kitchen while I drink cupcakes and tea in rose colored tea cups. I’ll be inviting everyone over just make sure that you’re in your best Sunday dresses!

Aside from doilies, you can also use printed paper, cloth, paper plates, box covers, old CDs… as base. To make it personalized, why not blow up you picture and put the clock’s hands  on your nose! : )

Hello people from the opposite side of my world! You must be having a sunny summer right now and I just thought this post might be helpful for those planning to hit the beach. Don’t let your swimsuits be lost in your luggage bag. Store them in a  bikini pouch made with a beautiful fabric that your eye can’t miss!

I’ve been incredibly busy the past 2 weeks juggling from what I recently counted 8 different projects! Every project is a lot of fun though thats why I just can’t give up any of them. Plus, I think I’ll need the extra money to save up for that Macbook I’ve been wanting to buy.

Tonight I just finished making new ultra cute stuff for a Total Girl feature. I can’t wait to share it with you as I made it extra special for TG’s anniversary issue in September. While researching on this project, I stumbled upon (again) Chanel‘s 2009 Spring/Summer Haute Couture paper decorations. I know its so last year but its simply one of the most beautiful stage designs I have ever seen!

7000 handmade paper flowers, which took a total of 4800 hours of work to assemble… photos taken here.

I can totally imagine this being done in an wedding, a bridal Buy Xenical Online shower or even a baptism or for us Filipinos, a debut! Call all your relatives and friends to give an hour or two to snip and fold.

mind wandering on more paper possibilities,

Last week I had the pleasure of helping Hershey in a shoot of her other business, Zuri. It was a big crowd of photographers, stylists and assistants all excited to be part of this project that promises an international audience. After the shoot, the photographers were kind enough to take pictures of me and Hershey as I realized that we haven’t had a decent picture yet! Thus, the About Us section of this website had no face to show.

I think I’ve grown more in the past 6 months than my whole 2 years working in a company! And its all thanks to Hershey’s generous sharing of wisdom. Every single time I go visit her in her office/home I feel empowered, challenged and also feeling small knowing that I am barely scratching the surface. But I guess that’s how exactly what she wants me to feel as she wants me to always be hungry for more knowledge as she is.

And because she’s just a generous teacher, she recently created a blog that will be focusing on corporate branding. Here is a wise and priceless quote from one of her entries:

Building a meaningful relationship takes time.
And sometimes, the other person isn’t ready for the kind of relationship you want.
Trust and affinity grow over multiple interactions, bit by bit.
But the rewards for patience are much greater than those of a conventional advertising one night stand.

Now imagine me, learning something like that every time I see her.

Blessed with a big sister from another mother,
Beam
